| Why fit additional lumbar support? | |||||
|
The
upholstery shaping on the Opera chair backrests allows for a standard
back curve for statures from 4’ 8” to 6’ 5”.
In addition, by using POSE and our modular construction, we can accommodate most variations. However, the spinal column is complex as its shape not only varies between individuals but its length and curvature change throughout the working day, as gravity and muscle fatigue, take their toll. A backrest incorporating contoured lumbar shaping helps but is only a compromise, it cannot allow for all these differences and fluctuations. For best effect we recommend that at least a fixed height Schukra adjustable lumbar support mechanism is fitted. |
